Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has successfully signed long-term Fuel Supply Agreements (FSAs) with National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) for the supply of 5.0 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of coal.
The coal will be supplied to NTPC's thermal power stations at Dadri, Farakka, Unchahar, and Nabinagar, ensuring a steady and reliable fuel source for power generation.
According to MCL sources, the coal linkage under these agreements will play a vital role in maintaining uninterrupted fuel supply to key power plants. This, in turn, will support consistent electricity generation and strengthen India's overall energy security.
