New Delhi, June 10 -- Nominated councillor of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Manoj Kumar Jain, has written to Mayor Pravesh Wahi, seeking the introduction of an annual rotation policy for officials across various MCD departments.
In his letter, Jain argued that officials often remain posted in the same area or department for extended periods, which could affect administrative transparency, impartiality, and efficiency. He stated that prolonged postings at a single location may increase local influence and create conditions that could lead to irregularities.
