New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar on Saturday conducted a field inspection of the waterlogging-prone stretch near Teliwara Akhara on Kutub Road in Sadar Bazar to assess preparedness and review arrangements on the ground.
He issued directions to the concerned departments to ensure a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging.
The inspection was attended by local Councillor and Zone Chairman Usha Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Kanika, senior MCD officials, representatives of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Delhi Metro, and other concerned departments.
