New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar and Delhi Urban Development Secretary Vivek Pandey on Saturday inspected pollution hotspots and major construction sites in South Delhi to review measures aimed at curbing air pollution before the winter.

The officials visited pollution hotspots in R.K. Puram and the IIT Delhi area, where they assessed dust-control measures and reviewed efforts by civic and government agencies to address sources of pollution.

They also inspected construction sites in Sarojini Nagar and along Ring Road to examine compliance with dust mitigation norms, the civic body said in a statement.
