Lucknow, March 8 -- Mayawati, chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), on Sunday called for maintaining the dignity of constitutional posts and avoiding their politicisation, particularly the offices of the President and the Lok Sabha Speaker.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Mayawati said that according to the ideals and values of the Constitution of India, it is necessary for everyone to respect the office of the President and follow the established protocol.
