Kochi, July 14 -- Ahead of the commencement of the Malayalam month of Karkitakam on July 17, Mathrubhumi Books has unveiled a specially curated collection of Ramayana publications, bringing together devotional classics, scholarly works, literary interpretations and children's books to mark the traditional Ramayana Month.
Karkitakam, observed during the peak of the southwest monsoon, is considered a period of spiritual reflection in Kerala. During the month, devotees across the State traditionally read and recite the Adhyathma Ramayanam to seek peace, strength and spiritual renewal.
