Ch. Sambhajinagar, March 24 -- A major fire broke out at an auto rickshaw warehouse in the Kanchanwadi area on Paithan Road in Ch. Sambhajinagar on Tuesday, causing extensive damage and destroying more than 100 newly manufactured rickshaws. The incident occurred at around 4 pm, leading to panic in the vicinity as flames quickly engulfed the entire godown.
Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and began efforts to bring the blaze under control. According to a fire department official, the presence of fuel in the vehicles parked inside the warehouse has made the operation extremely challenging. Several fire engines have been deployed, and continuous efforts are underway to douse the flames.
