Chandigarh, July 15 -- A major fire broke out at the closed Kingdom of Dreams (KOD) cultural and entertainment complex in Gurugram's Sector 29 on Wednesday afternoon, triggering panic in the area after thick plumes of smoke and flames were seen rising from the premises, officials said.
According to the fire department, information about the blaze was received at around 1:45 pm, following which multiple fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Firefighters launched an extensive operation to contain the flames, while police and emergency response teams secured the area and assisted in the rescue efforts.
