New Delhi, June 14 -- A massive fire broke out at a restaurant in Delhi's Kalkaji area early Sunday, engulfing an entire multi-storey building and triggering explosions in three commercial LPG cylinders. A 75-year-old woman trapped on the second floor in a neighbouring building was rescued safely by firefighters.
The incident occurred at the Punjabi Tadka Restaurant near the Govindpuri flyover. According to the Delhi Fire Service, the initial call about the blaze was received at around 4:45 am, following which six fire tenders were rushed to the spot. As the fire intensified rapidly, a "Make-4" call was issued and additional fire units were deployed.
