Imphal, Oct. 31 -- Thousands of people from different parts of Manipur, representing various indigenous communities, took to the streets of Imphal today in a massive rally organised by the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), along with several civil society organisations, demanding an end to the ongoing conflict, protection of indigenous identity and territorial integrity, and restoration of lasting peace in the state.
The rally witnessed participation from people across the valley and hill areas of Manipur, reflecting a collective expression of public concern over the prevailing political and security situation.
