Shillong, Sept. 16 -- Three masked men lobbed two petrol bombs at the office of the Directorate of Mineral Resources (DMR) here in the Meghalaya capital on Wednesday, partially damaging a privately owned vehicle.
This is the fifth petrol bomb attack in the state capital within a month, and the second such incident following the petrol bomb attack at the Laban Police Station on September 12.
A police official said the attack took place around 3:30 PM at the DMR office in Risa Colony when three masked men hurled two petrol bombs.
No one was injured in the petrol bomb attack, but a private vehicle of a DMR official parked in the office premises was partially damaged.
