Chandigarh, March 7 -- Panic gripped the Rattan Singh Chowk area of Amritsar during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday after unidentified masked men opened fire at the residence of a sitting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor. The incident, which took place around midnight, was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, providing crucial leads to the investigators.
According to reports, the assailants targeted the house of Ward No. 7 councillor, Kajal. At the time of the attack, the councillor and her family were present inside the house.
