Bengaluru, June 12 -- In a dramatic turn in the controversial Dharmasthala skull case, Chinnayya, popularly known as the "Mask Man", has approached the Karnataka High Court alleging that he was used as a pawn in a larger conspiracy to defame the renowned Dharmasthala temple town and target its Dharmadhikari, Dr Veerendra Heggade.
In a writ petition filed before the High Court, Chinnayya made a series of sensational allegations, claiming that activists and others orchestrated a campaign against the Dharmasthala administration and pressured him to make false statements. He urged the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to complete its probe and initiate action against those allegedly involved in the conspiracy.
