Mumbai, April 25 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told media persons today said that there is nothing wrong in giving priority to Marathi language in Maharashtra and Mumbai.

"There is nothing wrong in giving priority to Marathi and promoting the language, in Mumbai or Maharashtra. There should be no debate on this because this is the role of the government. But we will not accept any violence by forcing any language on anybody. Autorickshaw and taxi drivers who do not know Marathi will be taught to use the language. We will provide training facilities so that they can learn Marathi. We will take full care to ensure that no injustice is done to anyone in this process," Fadnavis said.
