Mumbai, Sept. 12 -- Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil has announced a march to Mumbai and an indefinite hunger strike in a major confrontation with the Maharashtra government over reservation demands, festival security and the state's handling of the drought situation.

On the 15th day of his ongoing hunger strike at Antarwali Sarati, Jarange Patil declared that the Maratha community's march to Mumbai has been finalized, signaling an intensified push for reservation.
