Ranchi, May 26 -- Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi on Tuesday alleged large-scale irregularities in the Jharkhand's health sector and demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into matters related to medicine procurement, ambulance purchases and appointments in the Jharkhand Medical and Health Infrastructure Development and Procurement Corporation Limited (JMHIDPCL).
Addressing a press conference, Marandi alleged that rules were violated in granting service extension to a consultant in JMHIDPCL and claimed that audit findings had revealed irregularities in procurement and infrastructure projects.
