Chandigarh, April 20 -- In a strategic move to accelerate crop diversification and enhance the livelihood of farmers, the Punjab government is set to establish a dedicated Horticulture Experience and Learning Centre, modelled after the world-renowned World Horti Center (WHC) ecosystem in the Netherlands.
The initiative is a direct outcome of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's recent investment promotion outreach in the Netherlands, where he visited key agricultural institutions to study sustainable farming practices, floriculture, and high-efficiency agricultural systems.
