New Delhi, May 13 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday reacted strongly to the reported firing incident outside Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh's manager's residence in Haryana, alleging that the incident was linked to attempts to pressure the singer into joining politics.

Addressing reporters, Mann claimed that Dosanjh had recently been under pressure from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to enter politics and suggested that the firing incident may have been used as a means of intimidation after the singer allegedly declined the offer.
