New Delhi, March 10 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said that senior party leader and Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia met the family of jailed AAP MLA Mehraj Malik and party workers in Jammu and expressed solidarity with them.

Sisodia arrived in Jammu and Kashmir earlier in the day after offering prayers at the Vaishno Devi shrine and later visited Malik's residence to meet his family members and local party workers.

Sisodia alleged that it has become common in the country's politics to send political leaders to jail in alleged false cases.
