Imphal, Sept. 16 -- Manipur was today conferred the Best Performing State among Hilly & North-Eastern States award under the India Electric Mobility Index (IEMI) 2025, issued by NITI Aayog.
State Transport Department official said the award was given in a function held in New Delhi today.
In the Open Category, Delhi topped the list, followed by Maharashtra, Karnataka and Chandigarh.
Manipur was recognised as the Best Performing State among the Hilly & North-Eastern States, marking a significant achievement for the State in the field of electric mobility.
