Imphal, April 29 -- Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday virtually inaugurated a newly constructed school building of Pou Shankar Kane Vidyalaya at Hougailong in Tamenglong district.
The new building was constructed with financial support from the North Eastern Council under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER). The Vidyalaya was established in 2009 under the initiative of Purva Seema Vikas Pratishthan.
Addressing students, teachers and dignitaries through virtual mode, the Governor expressed happiness at being part of the occasion. He stated that adverse weather conditions prevented his physical presence but conveyed his heartfelt wishes to all.
