Imphal, April 21 -- Manipur government employees have urged the Chief Secretary to provide security or three-day mass casual leave from Tuesday or until the shut down in the state.
Rajkumar Basumani Singh, President JAC of All Manipur Trade union Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Government Employees Organisation ( AMGEO), Manipur has submitted a letter to the Chief Secretary informing him that there is shut down in the state till April 25 called by various organisations.
He further said that following the incidence of bombing and killing of innocent child and infants on April 7, subsequent killings, mass uprising and crackdown in which many have died curfew is imposed.
