Imphal, March 4 -- The Governor of Manipur on Wednesday issued a notification allocating portfolios to members of the Council of Ministers who were sworn in on February 4, 2026.
According to the notification issued by the Secretariat: Confidential & Cabinet Department, the Governor of Manipur, on the advice of the Chief Minister and in pursuance of Rule 6(1) of the Rules of Business of the Government of Manipur, has assigned departments to the Ministers.
As per the notification, Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh will hold any department not specifically allocated to other ministers.
Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen has been allotted the Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department and the Tribal Affairs & Hills Department.
