Imphal, Aug. 12 -- The Manipur State Commission for Women, in collaboration with the Women Department of Manipur Baptist Convention, decided to organise a one-day legal awareness programme on Tuesday at the Manipur Baptist Convention Training Hall, Imphal, aimed at strengthening women's understanding of their legal rights.
The programme was held as part of a larger two-day seminar being conducted by the Manipur Baptist Convention, and formed part of the Commission's continuing effort to take legal literacy initiatives to women across the state.
