Thoubal, Oct. 28 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Wednesday visited the family of late Laishram Rakesh Singh at Khangabok Part-II, Mayai Leikai, in Thoubal, to offer condolences following the youth's death on October 18, in firing by some miscreants from a neighbouring village.
The CM met the bereaved family members and shared their grief over the loss.
He assured them that the state government stood firmly with the family during this difficult time and would extend all possible assistance.
Expressing his sympathies, Khemchand Singh prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting affected families across the state.
