Imphal, Oct. 29 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh today sought enhanced financial assistance from the Centre to help the state overcome its current financial crisis and address revenue losses incurred over the past three years.
During a meeting with union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at her office in Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi, the Chief Minister discussed Manipur's overall financial health and apprised her of the state government's efforts to maintain fiscal discipline and improve financial management, a state information official said.
