Imphal, Oct. 26 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh today visited Nongshum in Imphal East district and met the bereaved families of three civilians who were allegedly killed by armed Kuki militants while collecting firewood at Sunurok on October 19.
The victims were identified as Arubam Ronil, Lairenlakpam Inaobi and Kshetrimayum Sushil.
During the visit, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family members and assured them that the state government stood firmly with them during this difficult time. He also assured that all possible assistance would be extended to the affected families.
