Imphal, April 30 -- : Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh today extended his best wishes to Haj pilgrims from Manipur, particularly members of the Meitei Pangal (Manipuri Muslim) community, who departed Imphal for Kolkata en route to Madinah in Saudi Arabia to undertake the sacred Haj pilgrimage.

Seeing off the pilgrims at the Imphal International Airport, the Chief Minister expressed hope for their safe journey and well-being. "I pray to the Almighty that all pilgrims reach their destination safely and remain in good health throughout the journey," he said.

Highlighting the current situation in the State, the Chief Minister urged the pilgrims to offer prayers for peace and harmony in Manipur. He appealed to them to seek divine blessing...
