Imphal, May 14 -- Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday assured the internally displaced persons (IDP) in Manipur that they will be resettled soon in their respective places. Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited Kangchup Chingkhong, a foothill village in Imphal West district and interacted with the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
He assured the IDPs for their safe return to their respective homes and said that adequate security will be provided. He also assured the IDPs that a pucca house to shelter security personnel will be constructed in the area soon.
