Imphal, May 21 -- Security forces arrested four members of the banned United National Liberation Front (Pambei) and recovered more than 60 firearms during joint operations conducted over the past 24 hours in Imphal West district, Manipur police announced today.

Imphal West Superintendent of Police Ksh Shivakanta Singh, speaking at a press conference, said a cordon and search operation was carried out at an unauthorised UNLF (P) camp in Lamdeng, resulting in the seizure of 29 weapons, including AK-series rifles, M-series rifles, pistols, and ammunition.
