Patna, June 19 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said on Thursday that the three-day Mango Festival, to be held in Patna from June 19 to 21, will provide a common platform for farmers, scientists, entrepreneurs, traders and exporters while promoting the adoption of modern technologies, quality production, processing, marketing and export in the horticulture sector.
Sinha said here that the festival, dedicated to mangoes , the "king of fruits" grown in Bihar''s fertile and fragrant soil will be organised by the Directorate of Horticulture under the Agriculture Department at the campus of the Bihar Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (BAMETI) in Patna.
