Patna, May 14 -- Senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey on Thursday raised questions over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's foreign travels, asking him to disclose the source of funds spent on these visits.
Pandey said here that the Congress and Rahul Gandhi, who have criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to conserve foreign exchange, should first explain the expenditure incurred on Gandhi's overseas trips.
Citing information available in the public domain, Pandey claimed that Rahul Gandhi has undertaken 54 foreign trips over the past 22 years, with an estimated expenditure of around Rs 60 crore. He demanded that Gandhi clarify the source of funding for these visits.
