India, who won the toss and elected to bat, produced their highest-ever total in women's cricket at the Asian Games, with Ghosh's unbeaten 49 off just 22 balls providing the explosive finish.
Mandhana smashed 79 off 45 balls, including five fours and seven sixes, while Shafali narrowly missed a half-century, scoring 48 off 29 with three fours and three sixes. The opening pair added 99 from 60 balls to put India firmly in command.
