New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- The government has called on National Sports Federations to ensure greater transparency in athlete selection, strengthen governance and put athlete welfare at the centre of their functioning, with Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya outlining the prioritiesat the NSF Conclave 2026.
Mandaviya chaired the conclave on Thursday, which was attended by Minister of State for Sports Raksha Khadse, senior officials from the ministry and Sports Authority of India (SAI), along with representatives of various National Sports Federations.
