Nagpur, April 19 -- A 40-year-old man lost his life while seven others sustained injuries after a domestic LPG cylinder explosion sparked a fire in a residential house in Nagpur early Sunday morning, police said.
The incident took place around 6:30 am in the Bhaji Mandi area under the Old Kamptee police station limits.
According to officials, the blast occurred while the victim's wife was preparing tea, leading to a sudden fire that quickly engulfed parts of the house and created panic in the neighbourhood.
Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and managed to bring the blaze under control.
