Shimla, March 7 -- The police in Shimla have booked a man for allegedly threatening another individual with a pistol-like object in a video that went viral on social media, causing fear among residents.
According to Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh, a case was registered on March 5 at Jubbal police station after a video surfaced on Facebook showing a man brandishing a pistol-like object and threatening to kill another individual.
Police initially registered the case under Sections 351 and 352 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 25 and 30 of the Arms Act.
