New Delhi, March 30 -- A man allegedly killed his wife by hitting her on the head with a small-sized cooking gas cylinder after a domestic dispute, in South Delhi's Pul Prahladpur area, a police officer said on Monday.
According to police, the woman died instantly after being allegedly hit on the head with an LPG cylinder.
"The victim has been identified as Poonam, while her husband, Suresh, was taken into custody at the scene," police said.
The couple had shifted to a DDA housing complex just a month earlier and has two children. One child was staying with their grandmother, while the younger 18-month-old was present at home during the incident. The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on March 29.
