Greater Noida, Oct. 30 -- A man and his 11-year-old son died after falling from the 23rd floor of a tower at Mahagun Mywoods Society in Greater Noida's Bisrakh police station area on Friday morning.
According to preliminary information, the child had gone to the balcony to pluck flowers for puja when he reportedly slipped on the stairs. In an attempt to save him, his father also lost his footing, and both fell from the 23rd floor.
Both were rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared them dead.
According to Central Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Praveen Ranjan Singh, the police control room received an emergency alert via the 112 response system.
