Kolkata, June 16 -- Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday moved in her Bhabanipur Assembly constituency.
Banerjee filed an election petition entailing details challenging the victory of Suvendu Adhikari at Bhabanipur.
Earlier on May 14, Banerjee had moved the high court seeking to place arguments on alleged post-poll violence, She then had to face a barrage of protest from a section of the lawyers. The protestors also shouted "thief thief" targeting Banerjee.
On Tuesday, Banerjee's sudden visit to the high court stirred a lot of interest among the lawyers. Banerjee was accompanied by party leaders Dola Sen and Kunal Ghosh.
