Kolkata, April 15 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Centre in her Bengali New Year message, alleging attempts to undermine democracy in the state and urging voters to respond through the ballot box in the upcoming Assembly elections.
In a video message released on Poila Boishakh, Banerjee extended greetings to the people across the state while invoking Bengal's cultural and social legacy.
In her post on X handle, she said, "From the depths of my heart, I extend my warmest greetings of Bengali New Year to the people of all corners of the state. May this fresh dawn of a new era make each of your lives free from blemish. In this call of the new, may every soul brim with sanctity."Emphasis...
