Kolhapur, Aug. 5 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge today travelled to Kolhapur to pay final respects to the late Padma Shri Dr. D.Y. Patil at his home here, and met the bereaved family and offered personal condolences.
DY Patil, veteran Congress leader and former governor, passed away on Tuesday at age 90.
Kharge praised the late Dr DY Patil as a visionary leader and education pioneer whose journey from the grassroots took him to the office of governor.
