Malegaon, Oct. 30 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested Malegaon Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ravindra Jadhav, his personal assistant Nilesh Patil and accounts officer Harish Dimbar on charges of demanding and accepting a bribe linked to the clearance of construction work bills.
The action has triggered considerable discussion in Malegaon, particularly within the municipal corporation, as the commissioner was reportedly due to retire in just two days.
