New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- India's growing reputation as a high-performance training destination has received a boost with Malaysian athletics choosing the Sports Authority of India's (SAI) Thiruvananthapuram centre for a month-long camp ahead of the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.

The camp, which concluded on September 10, featured 800m runner Wan Muhammad Fazri and 400m/800m athlete Umar Osman. The duo trained under Malaysia Athletics head coach Mohamed Azarudeen as part of their preparations for the continental showpiece, beginning September 19.
