New Delhi, July 9 -- Malayalam cinema classic Kireedam, widely regarded as one of the finest films in the history of Malayalam cinema, will return to theatres across India and overseas on July 10, in a digitally restored 4K version with Dolby Atmos sound.
The restoration of the 1989 film has been undertaken by the National Film Development Corporation-National Film Archive of India (NFDC-NFAI), highlighting the importance of preserving India's rich cinematic heritage. The restored version is being presented by NFDC in association with Seven Arts International Ltd. and distributed by Hyzin Global Ventures.
