Thiruvananthapuram, May 30 -- The 12th edition of the Malabar River Festival, Asia's largest white-water kayaking competition and India's biggest adventure sports event, will be held from July 30 to August 2 at the Chalipuzha and Iruvanjipuzha rivers in Kozhikode.
Kerala Tourism Minister P. C. Vishnunath has said the festival is expected to attract international kayakers from more than 20 countries and over 100 participants from across India, underlining Kerala's growing prominence as a global destination for adventure tourism.
To build momentum ahead of the event, around 18 adventure sports programmes will be conducted across the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation area and eight neighbouring panchayats.
