Nahan, June 21 -- A yoga event was organized on Saturday at the Mata Kalisthan Temple complex in Nahan to mark International Yoga Day.
Prominent citizens of Nahan, volunteers from Nehru Yuva Kendra and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers participated in the event and practiced yoga.
Addressing the gathering, BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal extended his best wishes to the people of the country, the state, and Sirmaur district on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
He stated that the credit for gaining global recognition for India's millennia-old yoga tradition goes to the efforts and initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
