Hyderabad, July 10 -- A major fire broke out at a warehouse storing decoration materials near the Musi River under the Chaderghat police station limits on Friday evening, triggering panic among local residents.
According to police, the blaze spread rapidly as the warehouse contained highly inflammable materials, including plastic, thermocol and fabrics. Thick plumes of smoke and towering flames were seen rising from the premises, causing alarm in the surrounding area.
On receiving information, the Fire Department rushed four fire tenders to the spot. Firefighters launched an operation to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
