Hyderabad, April 10 -- : Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) B.Shivadhar Reddy on Friday said the Maoist network in the state has suffered a major blow with 42 cadres surrendering in a single day, including 10 members from the Telangana State Committee (TSC).
Talking to reporters, Reddy said the remaining surrendered cadres belong to various Chhattisgarh-based Maoist committees, particularly the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee.
He stated that with the latest surrender of 10 to 11 Telangana State Committee members, no underground cadre or active member of the Telangana State Committee remains.
