Major administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh late night, 20 IAS officers transferred

Lucknow, July 10 -- The Uttar Pradesh government carried out a major administrative reshuffle late Thursday night, transferring 20 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

The government made new appointments in several key departments, including medical education, registration, culture, energy, women and child development, revenue, and rural development. Chief Development Officers (CDOs) of several districts have also been replaced.

According to the order, Revenue Department Secretary Sudha Verma has been appointed Labor Commissioner. Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Managing Director Riya Kejriwal has been appointed Special Secretary of the Child Development and Nutrition Department.
