Bulandshahr, April 30 -- The main accused in the triple murder case that took place on April 25 in Khurja's Subhash Marg area, identified as Jitu Saini, died during treatment after being injured in a police encounter early Thursday morning near Sikandarpur village.
According to police reports, Jitu Saini sustained two bullet injuries during the encounter and was initially taken to Jatiya Hospital.
Due to his critical condition, he was later referred to the District Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
During the exchange of fire, SWAT team in-charge Mohammad Aslam and constable Mohit Malik also sustained gunshot injuries. Both are currently undergoing treatment at Jatiya Hospital.
